Growing up I have always been interested in trying to be as active as possible whether that’s through sports like hockey or just walking from place to place. As a result, by maintaining a physical lifestyle and always being ready to lend a helping hand I have decided to study kinesiology and hopefully physiotherapy soon after.
In my free time, I enjoy going hiking, playing hockey, spending time with friends and family, and watching tv!

As a Registered Acupuncturist, my approach to care is rooted in traditional medicine and a whole-body perspective on healing. I was drawn to acupuncture after seeing the limitations in how Western medicine often defines health. Returning to ancient wisdom felt like a more holistic and reliable path—one that aligned with my values and curiosity about the deeper layers of wellness.
I believe that every symptom is part of a bigger picture, so I take time to understand not just what’s happening physically, but emotionally and energetically as well. In our first session together, you can expect a warm and welcoming experience, with an in-depth intake, pulse and tongue diagnosis, and plenty of space to feel heard and supported.
I’m especially passionate about women’s reproductive health and enjoy working with clients through all stages of their wellness journeys. One of my favourite parts of this work is seeing clients’ reactions when they feel truly seen—especially when I share what I intuitively pick up through pulse diagnosis. Fun fact: I’ve been told I have a “psychic” sense when it comes to reading pulses!
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy meditation, time in nature, and continuing to explore ancient acupuncture techniques.
My goal is to help you feel your best, inside and out, and leave each session feeling more grounded, balanced, and empowered.

Interestingly Anthony began his career in the banking industry, but after 10 years he was ready to make a change! What compelled him to pursue a career as an RMT? During the pandemic, like many others, Anthony took time to reflect on what was important. As he reflected, he realized just how important one’s health truly is and that minimizing pain and stress is critical in living a healthy lifestyle. Anthony saw a career as an RMT as a means to positively impact the lives of others by helping to reduce their pain/discomfort, manage their stress and, ultimately, live their best lives.
Registered Massage Session with Anthony….
Anthony loves the investigative process and the art of merging his assessment findings with your goals to develop a plan that best addresses your primary complaints.
Furthermore, he has a genuine passion for working with the older adult population, emphasizing maintaining and building function to ensure the ongoing enjoyment of all that life has to offer! He loves to treat patients who might be recovering athletes or anyone that is just looking for a day to day relaxation massage.
A little bit about Anthony….
Whether it be his trip to Tuscany, listening to some Jazz/R&B music, playing with his 2-year-old Shiba Inu or a meditation session, Anthony sees the importance of doing the things you enjoy to live a balanced, healthy life. Having played soccer, basketball, volleyball, softball, tennis, badminton AND table tennis, Anthony is no stranger to physical activity and it is no surprise that the one piece of wellness advice he lives by is…..
“Use it or lose it”

I enjoy being around people and thrive on helping them to attain their peak potentials. The profession of physiotherapy has been a great career choice for me and has provided me with more than 30 years of enjoyment. It has given me the opportunity to work with and help everyone from elite athletes to seasoned couch potatoes.
Between juggling the schedules associated with a family of six children and working at managing clinics I relax while kicking a soccer ball, bike riding and playing the piano at church and home.
Today only happens once and I encourage you to make it the best it can be - using positive thoughts and acts of kindness to propel you in the right direction.

Please note: Pearl requires all patients to wear a mask during treatment. Thank you for your understanding!
From dragon boating and playing netball in my teens, to loving the outdoors & swimming as an adult, I’ve had my fair share of aches and pains. Studying to become a massage therapist has helped me learn why my body behaves the way it does, and has given me a greater understanding of what needs to be done in order to get me back to the best possible quality of life.
Though I have an interest in pre and post-natal massage, I am not one to shy away from a challenge (from chronic pain and orthopaedic conditions, to maintaining physical and emotional well-being through massage). I like to use a variety of techniques in my treatments, such as releases, joint mobilizations, and stretches. With a newfound interest in pain science, and an attempt to be evidence-informed, I try to gear each appointment to what I think will work best for my individual patients at that time. I might have you performing movements/stretches/exercises as part of your treatment or homecare, and am always open to discussing why I believe a particular course of action is best.
I am a giant nerd. I love talking all things fandom, pain science, books, and food. I look forward to working with you and not only teaching you something new through our interactions, but also learning from you.
Please note: Pearl requires all patients to wear a mask during treatment. Thank you for your und...

Sports have always been a big part of my life. I loved playing basketball and volleyball growing up. This made me pursue my degree in Kinesiology at UBC. While in school, I really enjoyed working out and learning about strength training and bodybuilding which made me choose a career in personal training. As a trainer in a corporate setting, I realized that many people loved to be active but had a sedentary lifestyle at work in which their body (especially neck and back) suffered. I decided to learn more about the human body by getting my diploma in massage therapy at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.
I believe massage is a great tool to help relieve stress and also help those who are in pain to get back to doing things they love.
My treatment style is a blend of relaxation, Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, strengthening and stretching. Every client is different and listening to what each person needs is very important to me.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude and Class Valedictorian from Northwestern Health Sciences University with Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic Degrees, Dr. Sembrat has acquired specialized training in ergonomics, workplace safety, nutrition, orthotics, posture rehabilitation, myofascial techniques and metabolic testing.
His practice style is geared toward patient centered care through an individualized multidisciplinary approach. His treatment has focused on workplace injuries, sports injuries, orthotics, strength and mobility rehabilitation, posture modification, VO₂Max, resting metabolic and body composition testing, and personal training.
The treatment approach he utilizes includes spinal manipulation, myofascial release, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, and a progression of stretching and strengthening programs to speed recovery and maintain results. He stresses the importance of a treatment program that includes a role for the patients in their own care. It is also important for him to work in a multi-disciplinary environment to further ensure a quick and complete resolution to an injury.
Teaching is something that he enjoys and has conducted classes related to workplace safety, ergonomics, stretching, posture, nutrition, and running for patients as well as employees of companies such as Shell Canada, University of Calgary, Salvation Army, Government of Canada, Alberta Justice, Woods Homes, and BP Canada.
He enjoys teaching, reading, running, cycling, hiking and spending time with friends and family on outdoor adventures. He has completed 13 marathons, 20 half marathons, and multiple shorter distance races which has given him a much more intimate understanding of the pain and injury patients endure.

I enjoy working with patients towards the common goal of reducing their pain and getting them back to being healthy and productive. I strive to achieve this by incorporating a combination of techniques in the treatment room that are specific to their needs while also trying to educate them on their condition and how they can begin to manage it through minor lifestyle changes, strengthening, and stretching.
Having grown up playing sports, I have a particular passion for working with athletes and sports-related injuries, however I also enjoy working with people from all lifestyle backgrounds as I believe that anyone from an office worker suffering from postural dysfunction and tension headaches to a high-performance athlete experiencing a muscle strain can benefit from massage therapy.
Although soccer is my first love, I enjoy watching and playing almost any sport. In my spare time, I like spending time with friends and family, learning about new cultures, and trying new cuisines, so if anyone ever has any restaurant recommendations, I’m all ears!

The more I work with bodies the more I’m amazed at how complex and unique and unfathomably weird they are, and also at the staggering possibilities contained within them. As an RMT, I see my role as helping my patients find that potential, whether by improving biomechanics, decreasing pain, facilitating recovery from injury, or reducing stress.
I am an adult-onset exerciser — and a clumsy one at that — and so have first-hand experience with the pains of both the active and the inactive.
My interests range from sports injuries and performance (I’m also a personal trainer), to peripheral nerve pathologies and chronic pain conditions (and, of course, the ubiquitous desk worker’s neck). I have a strong geeky streak and take a lot of extra courses and workshops from a number of different disciplines to help broaden and deepen my understanding of the body, and to add more tools to my therapeutic toolkit.
When I’m not working or taking more classes, I spend my time working out, snacking, reading, hanging out with my family, and trying in vain to remove the cat hair from my clothes.

As a chiropractor, Olympic lifting and strength coach, health & lifestyle consultant and a former national level athlete, I understand the importance of “performance on demand” and its role in functional daily movement.
I graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, after completing four years of a specialty honours degree in Kinesiology Health and Science program at York University. I am also a trained Neurofunctional, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider and a TCM acupuncturist.
I am an evidence-informed practitioner, who takes a neural-functional and rehabilitative approach to treatment, utilizing a wide variety of soft tissue therapies (myofascial release and myofascial cupping, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy - commonly known as Graston Technique), exercise and electro-modalities to achieve optimum results. I emphasize movement based rehabilitation, combining essential movement patterns with daily occupational and sport based movement requirements. My attention and focus on the importance of neuroscience and neuroanatomy creates valuable insights to treating concussion based head injuries. I am also a member of Pain BC’s chronic pain practitioners program.
I was the medical lead for Athletics Canada at their Toronto high performance training centre, working with Canada’s best track and field athletes. I was also the lead medical practitioner for the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games, and medical staff for team Canada during the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Scotland and the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. I have had the great privilege to assist Canadian athletes at six world championship events.

My journey from National Team Athlete and Olympic Coach to now has provided me a unique understanding of the body’s potential. I see massage therapy as the bridge between healing and peak performance.
I was fortunate to spend 7 years representing Team Canada in the sport of Skeleton (going down an iced water slide on a glorified lunch-tray at speeds over 140 km/hr). Over the last 17 years as an athlete, coach, and trainer, I’ve been immersed in the world of human anatomy, physiology, performance, and injury.
After retiring from sport I began my education journey on the path toward Physiotherapy but found myself wanting a more hands-on approach, one where I could spend more time with my clients. That happily led me to the world of massage therapy.
I’ve worked with individuals of all ages and levels of athleticism, from teens to Olympians. What sets my practice apart is my integrated approach. I see the body as an interconnected system with many factors affecting our ability to function. So I keep my goal as simple as possible: to help you feel as good and happy as possible, so you can do more of what you love.
When I’m not massaging you can find me taking photos, playing board games, playing vintage video games (NES/SNES/N64 loyal), and being in Vancouver I have to get outside and hike and walk in nature as much as possible.
My journey from National Team Athlete and Olympic Coach to now has provided me a unique understan...
